Prologis Ports Jersey City

The goal: engineer a cleaner tomorrow near Pulaski Skyway with this project. A former Superfund landfill redevelopment, this project had a two-year break between phases before base construction. Phase I consisted of HAZMAT soil remediation, landfill waste cut/fill of 200,000+ CY; 500,000 CY mass Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA) import; ground Improvement techniques including Dynamic Compaction, Surcharge, Controlled Modulus Column building support. Phase II included the base building construction with Active Environmental gas management systems throughout the site and building interior. We also performed tenant improvements for Peapod, a food delivery, storage, and packaging company and Imperial Bag & Paper Co., a supply and packaging distributor. This project acquired LEED Silver® certification.
