GOYA World Headquarters

We have our part in building the future of food with Goya’s world headquarters. This Jersey City ground up industrial food distribution center included on-site improvements to the 42-acre property comprised of a 13.2 kV electrical service upgrade, new gas and water supply with a 250,000-gallon water tank to support the fire suppression system. The footprint and interior of the building used Controlled Modulus Columns (CMCs) to stabilize the site, meeting the building’s design capacity including a three-level office space for their corporate headquarters. Exterior walls are 12” pre-cast panels and the slab of the warehouse was designed to handle 1100 psf.

The warehouse consists of 66 loading dock doors and a cold storage area comprised of a 52,000sf freezer cooler and another 24,000sf slab prepped for future expansion. The finished multi-story office space is at 44,000sf with the ability to expand to 66,000sf. Total square footage of the facility is 632,000sf. This project also included a PLA labor agreement as well as extensive efforts engaging local community organizations.
